In its third annual edition, Boulderthon drew runners from all 50 states as well as 18 countries, as the signature marathon showcased the world-class city of Boulder set at the foothills of the spectacular Flatirons.

In 2024, Runners World named Boulderthon among the Best Fall Marathons in the US, and USA Today ranked Boulderthon top 10 in America. Active also named Boulderthon as one of the Top 5 Best Half Marathons in the United States.
